Ticketing & Audience Services Manager LIU / Tilles Center
Reporting to the Director of Facility Operations, the Ticketing & Audiences Services Manager for major University arts presenting organization, with responsibility for the management of all front-of-house activities including Box Office and Guest Services at the Tilles Center to ensure customer services and safety.
The responsibilities of the Ticketing & Audience Services Manager include but are not limited to:
• Directing the day-to-day operations of the box office, including online sales channels and third-party vendors. • Handling of revenues including cash, credit cards, checks and transfers for bank deposits and University reporting. • Oversees guest services, giving personal attention to subscribers and VIPs with special emphasis on the Americans with Disabilities Act. • Assists with the planning, organization and management of front-of-house activities for all Tilles Center events including performances, conferences and other events. • Recruit, train and supervise full and part-time audience services staff. • Work closely with related staff in the formation of sales and service policies, pricing and strategy. • Generation of sales reports and marketing lists as needed by other departments.
Qualifications: BA degree with a minimum five years' experience working in performing arts in a front-of-house capacity; experience with ticketing software, Ticketmaster and Archtics preferred; strong computer skills (MS Office; Excel, Access); exemplary interpersonal, communications and organizational skills; outstanding management and planning skills - including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Applicants must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with demonstrated experience as a self-directed project manager who can produce results.
Special Information: Fast paced environment with heavy phone traffic with flexible hours including some nights and weekends.
