To assist the head coach in all aspects of the softball program including but not limited to: student athlete development. Coordination of recruiting, maintenance of recruiting database, fund-raising, on-field coaching, development and implementation of off-season conditioning program. Commitment to NCAA, Mid-American Conference and University of Toledo policy compliance.
Bachelor's Degree required. High school or college coaching experience.
-Demonstrated knowledge of the rules and regulations of the MAC and the NCAA. -Attention to details. -Ability to multi-tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. -Excellent organizational and administrative skills. -Excellent verbal, written and oral communication on all levels. -Ability to represent the department and University in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. -Ability to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office equipment. -Demonstrated professional conduct and ethical behavior at all times.
Division I coaching experience preferred.
