The University of Tulsa, a member of the American Athletic Conference and NCAA Division I (FBS), invites applicants for the position of Athletics Marketing Coordinator. This entry-level, non-benefitted position will be evaluated and reappointed on an annual basis. The University of Tulsa offers 17 intercollegiate sports.
Position Summary: The Athletics Marketing Coordinator will promote the Tulsa Athletics brand in an effort to increase attendance, generate revenue, and maximize the fan experience. The Athletics Marketing Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the development of marketing initiatives for Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Soccer, Volleyball, and Softball. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: assisting with various game presentation duties for all sports; aiding in further development of social media and multi-media; oversight of student intern staff; establish effective on-campus marketing efforts aimed at increasing student attendance; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, sports administration (management), or related field. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively. Possess a strong working knowledge of social media. At least one (1) year of athletic marketing experience in collegiate athletics and/or professional athletics preferred. Photoshop and desktop publishing skills preferred.
