Valdosta State University is accepting applications for the Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications position. The position is responsible for the management of all communication and media relations for the Athletic Department. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in a collegiate or professional sports media relations/communications position or related field plus strong writing and computer skills.

Strong understanding of NCAA statistics for intercollegiate sports and the ability to use computerized stat programs. Masters Degree. Experience in media relations/communications with the sport of football. Graphic Design, Radio Play-by-Play and Public Address Experience.
