The University of Texas at San Antonio Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking well-qualified individuals for its Development Assistant for the Roadrunner Athletic Fund.
1.Oversee all areas of event planning and coordination for the Roadrunner Athletic Fund, including but not limited to Football and Basketball game day hospitality and receptions, sport-specific alumni reunions, banquets, auctions and special events.
2.Assist with donor relations, including stewardship and acknowledgements.
3.Responsible for providing a high level of customer service to donors at every donation level through events, phone and email interaction.
4.Serve as the liaison to the ticket office. Track all incoming donations and update in Archtics database. Responsible for data reports and analytics.
5.Assist with creation and implementation of Roadrunner Athletic Fund marketing plan.
6.Assist with donor retention and correspondence as assigned.
7.Manage the matching gift program.
8.Other duties as assigned by the Roadrunner Athletic Fund staff.
One year of experience in development, data collection, data analysis, public relations, events, communications or other relevant experience
Demonstrated high level event planning and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and written, oral communication skills.
Two years or more of experience in athletics development and / or event planning.
Athletics Tickets Software experience.
Fundraising experience, including understanding of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship process.
Experience with social media and digital communications.
Examples of work provided, preferable.
Career interest in athletics development and administration.
