SUMMARY: Oversee all aspects of the Maverick Club, including a comprehensive annual strategy to increase the total revenue generated from annual donations and premium seating and increase the total number of donors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all aspects of the Maverick Club Annual Fund including solicitations, stewardship initiatives, and maintain relationships with donors, prospects and community. Supervise the Assistant Director of the Maverick Club. Responsible for managing a portfolio of 100-150 annual donor prospects and advancing them through the donor cycle. Manage the Maverick Club Ambassador Committee. Identify and facilitate community opportunities and appearances for the Athletic Director and Head Coaches to assist in growing our donor base and community awareness. Facilitate all aspects of premium seating including the renewal process, new season ticket holders acquisition and game day liaison for premium seat holders. Assist with suite sales for basketball in conjunction with Learfield Sports and the Assistant AD for Marketing. Implement an annual giving strategy aimed at increasing the number of Maverick Club members and total giving. Oversee all sport specific fundraising including direct mail campaigns, events, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in college athletics, university development, or fundraising or the equivalent experience. Applicants must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Applicants must possess the ability to prioritize workload for timely completion of important tasks and be able to maintain confidential information. They must also be able to work unconventional hours, weekends and holidays when events require it. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple project deadlines is paramount. Equivalent combination of relevent education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Sports Management, Sports Administration, Business Administration, or a related filed plus 5 years in college athletics, fundraising, or university development.
