Qualifications and Abilities:
A bachelor's degree and two years coaching experience at the intercollegiate athletic level or higher is preferred.
The successful candidate will possess the following: the ability to evaluate physical performance related to the inter-collegiate Women's Hockey program; excellent written and oral communication skills; the ability to effectively communicate both within and outside the University; the ability to provide effective leadership to student athletes to encourage both successful academic development and competitive performance, and a commitment to the Mercy mission and knowledge of all applicable NCAA, conference, federal, state, and local rules/laws. Must possess the physical skills necessary to demonstrate ice hockey techniques.
