Southwestern College seeks a full-time Sports Information Director that will report to the Director of Athletics. This position will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the department's athletic communications office, including, but not limited to, statistical record-keeping, website maintenance, social media coordination, video webcasting services, photo/video editing, media relations oversight, event management, award nominations, staff/student-athlete profiles, and special event coordination. This is a 11-month appointment (July 1 – May 31), with attractive benefits. Required are a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; photography skills; and familiarity with communication trends. Essential skills include writing, Microsoft Office and Adobe products. Knowledge of internet content management system and DakStats is preferred. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work as a member of a team.
