Executive, Executive - Associate Athletics Director
The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications will serve as the primary media contact for volleyball (indoor and beach) and baseball as well as other duties assigned by the Senior Associate A.D. / Director of Communications.

COMPENSATION: $35,000.00 to 45,000.00. Commensurate with Experience.
WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time, 40 hours/per week; Day
Promotion and support of Utah’s intercollegiate athletic programs; producing online team record books/media guides, game notes, news releases, statistics compilation; generating feature content for video and other unique coverage for UtahUtes.com and Pac12.com; establishing and maintaining positive relations with media through strong interpersonal communication skills; staffing home and select away events; supervising student workers and statistical crews; facilitating social media in line with department goals; other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, sport management or a related field. Minimum of three years in a college sports information office, including at least one year as a full-time assistant, intern or graduate assistant.
Demonstrated experience in athletic communications
Extensive knowledge of and the ability to:
o Creatively produce and manage the design, layout, content and flow of multiple publications for multiple platforms (i.e. “new media,” Web, e-mail, podcasts, digital audio & video, digital photography, social media and print)
o Communicate effectively to various forms of media outlets and establish favorable public relations
o Work collaboratively with other external relations staff (e.g. marketing, video, social media) on group projects
Proficient in computer software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and sports statistical software.
Proficient in social media content creation and management including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snap Chat.
Familiar with website content management system (please specify system used). Experience with SideArm highly preferred.
