The Ursinus College Athletic department has an immediate opening for Aquatics Director/Assistant Swim Team Coach (men and women). This is a full-time position. The candidate will be responsible for all phases of a revenue generating aquatics program. This includes overseeing the current Little Bears swim lessons, as well as creating additional programming, testing and maintaining the chemical balance of the aquatic facility, and hiring and managing lifeguard staff. Other duties will include assisting the Head Swim Team Coach with all phases of a competitive Division III program. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching, recruiting, budgeting, travel and providing a positive collegiate experience for student-athletes.
Direct the Little Bears swimming lesson program
Create and direct additional revenue-producing aquatic programming
Assist the head swim team coach in all phases of the program (working with both the men’s and women’s teams)
Test and maintain chemical balance of aquatic facility- coordinate efforts with Facilities Services department
