The University of Southern Mississippi is seeking two Graduate Assistant Coaches, one in the sport of Men’s Golf and one in the sport of Women’s Golf.
The Graduate Assistant Coach will serve as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s or Women’s Golf Program. The Graduate Assistant Coach will assist in all facets of the day-to-day operation of the Division I Golf program at the University of Southern Mississippi. The Graduate Assistant Coach will adhere to all policies set forth by the Southern Miss Men’s or Women’s Golf Program, the University of Southern Mississippi, Conference USA, and the NCAA. The ideal starting date for these positions will be August 22nd 2018.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: •Assist in the facilitation of all practices •Assist in the facilitation of all strength and conditioning sessions •Assist in the recruitment, evaluations, and hosting of prospective student-athletes •Serve as a liaison with the athletic academic services office and the Men’s Golf Program •Coach/ student-athlete liaison •Will travel to all men’s golf events •Assist with community service and fundraising
Notes: These positions will cover the cost of tuition (including the out of state fee if applicable), plus a $800 monthly stipend

These positions require passage of the NCAA recruiting test and passage of a background check. We also expect a commitment of two years and/or completion of a Master's Degree. Both positions require evening and weekend work.
