Marietta College is an independent, selective, coeducational, residential, liberal arts college of 1,200 graduate and undergraduate students located in the historic river city of Marietta, Ohio. Marietta College is a member of NCAA Division III and the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).
Marietta College seeks qualified applicants for the full-time position of Assistant Football Coach and Instructor/Wide Receivers. This position has the following responsibilities:
Teach proper football techniques in wide receiver position group assigned by the head coach and assess skill development
Instruct concepts of overall physical health, individual, and team safety
Educate students on NCAA Division III rules and Marietta College Athletics Department Learning Outcomes
Recruit future student athletes who understand and are prepared for the demands presented by small-college, non-scholarship athletic programs
Monitor team members' academic progress
Teach a 1-credit skill class each semester
Other duties as assigned by administration of the athletic department may include, but are not limited to:
game day administration;
intramural planning and supervision; and
sports information assistance.
This position is also expected to: uphold the high professional standards of conduct expected of each person on campus as outlined in our Employee Handbook; attend staff meetings, faculty meetings, and serve on committees; assist our student athletes with their academic progress and monitor study table sessions; and build positive interpersonal relationships both inside and outside of the athletic department by participating in College functions, including professional, cultural and social.

Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree and previous college coaching experience preferred
Exceptional understanding of offensive football, Wide Receiver coaching experience required
Knowledge of NCAA, OAC and Marietta College rules and guidelines
Strength and Conditioning Certification strongly preferred
Ability to work with athletic department video editing system
Ability to work with recruiting database system
Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of every Defensive position
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse environment
Must be able to travel, and possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Must possess a strong commitment to diversity and inclusiveness
