The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), a premier NCAA Division II athletic conference headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo., is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to serve as an assistant for championships, business operations, and compliance. This is a 10-month position from August 2018 through May 2019.
The successful candidate will assist the Director of Championships and Business Operations and the Assistant Commissioner. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting with the following initiatives: oversight of the conference film exchange program, manage the assigning website used for officials and reconcile officiating costs, process National Letters of Intent, assist with preparation for conference meetings, oversight of championship inventory and championship handbooks, edit and disseminate championship programs, review marketing plans and scripts for championship events, assist with on-site coordination of championships, long-term compliance and governance projects, and other duties as assigned.
Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to careful attention-to-detail and strong organizational and time management skills. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office, as well as familiar with web-based programming. They should also be able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
This 10-month position may be available upon qualifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $28,060.
