The External Events Assistant will assist the Coordinator of External Events in all aspects of generating event revenue, formulating positive relationships in the community and promoting the availability of various UAA venues for external events. Must utilize an innovative approach to secure event commitments as well as with the event set-up and planning. This is a time-limited position with an option for a second year if essential criteria is met. This posting closes on March 25, 2018. Bachelor’s degree is required. Previous experience with event planning and/or event set-up is preferred. Experience in graphic design and digital marketing is also preferred. Exceptional customer service skills are an essential component of the position. The ability to work a non-standard work schedule, which may include nights, weekends and holidays is also required.
