Assists the head coach with all areas of the volleyball program including, but not limited to coaching of volleyball student-athletes, equipment management, film exchange, team travel planning, game management, supervising student managers, recruitment of prospective student-athletes and academic oversight of student-athletes
Performs administrative duties related to the women's volleyball program
Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvement
Demonstrated successful volleyball coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level and/or club level experience
Demonstrated ability to motivate student-athletes academically and athletically
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA regulations
Demonstrated ability to recruit qualified student-athletes
Ability to work evening and weekend hours
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty, community and media
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multi-cultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
