Team USA is looking for a smart, analytical project leader, process optimizer, and business analyst who works across diverse partner groups to design, develop and deliver innovative solutions to address strategic business challenges. This job will be filled as a Business Strategy and Process Consultant OR Senior Business Strategy and Process Consultant depending on the education, experience and skills of the candidate.
Project Leadership - 35% •Lead all phases of project management (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor & Control, Close). •Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. •Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. •Monitor, tracks and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
Business Analysis and Storytelling - 35% •Empower our cross departmental teams with the support and confidence needed to clearly define their challenges, make data driven decisions, and leverage technology tools. •Develop internal and external knowledge shares by creating personal network of experts to understand best practices and trends impacting the USOC, NGBs, and Team USA athletes. •Structure data study approach, pull lots of different types of data together from lots of different places, mine it for interesting tidbits, then paint a beautiful picture for a range of audiences to understand relevant insights and best practices. •Develop, deliver, and defend conclusions and recommendations that support immediate needs and future success.
Process Improvement and Transformation - 20% •Direct, standardize and improve the way our business processes operate, how information is captured and ensure our teams work together to achieve effective, efficient, and accurate business operations. •Develop best practice methodologies and document current and improved processes that support consistency, transparency, and effective change management. •Independently identify, structure, and solve problems from beginning to end.
Cross-Functional Strategic Assessment- 10% •Lead individuals at all levels across the organization to identify and tell amazing stories about the successes of our athletes and the resource we provide them to sustain competitive excellence. •Support and expand client relationships through delivery of high quality insights and trusted partnership. •Provide technical and functional content and expertise to teammates and clients.
Bachelor’s degree with a preferred emphasis in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Statistics
Prefer MBA or Graduate-level studies in Business or Finance
