About the Program: The University of Northwestern Ohio is an NAIA affiliated school. The women’s soccer program was formed in 2013 and has been nationally ranked as a top 5 program over the past four years, competing in the National Championships and Final Fours. This position is housed in the Athletic Department and will report to the Head Soccer Coach. It is the responsibility of the Assistant/Goalkeeper Coach to assist the Head Coach in the training of the goalkeepers and defensive unit as well as monitor and facilitate all facets of the Reserve program, while adhering to all University, WHAC Conference, and NAIA rules and regulations. This position will work closely with the women’s soccer staff. He/she will also work collaboratively with relevant constituent groups. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting in recruiting, planning and conducting goalkeeper and team training sessions, game day operations, and general administrative duties.
Work Schedule: Work schedule will be non-traditional in nature (some evenings and weekend work will be required). Travel may be required for team competition and recruiting.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and collegiate goalkeeper experience.
Preferred Qualifications: NSCAA Goalkeeper License, previous high school, club, or college coaching experience. Other licenses are a plus.
