Athletics Business Operations Specialist – Part-time (25 - 29 hours/week) administrative support sought for Athletics Business operations. The Athletics Business Operations Specialist performs administrative, clerical and business functions in support of the Department of Athletics. Primary responsibilities include facilitating all internal accounting processes including part-time and student payroll; preparing invoices and deposits; generating requisitions and purchase orders; and reconciling accounts. Additionally, this individual coordinates the use of college owned and rental vehicles for recruiting and administrative travel. This support staff member has interactions with internal constituents and external contacts on a regular basis. A professional, positive, and welcoming demeanor is essential in this position. Computer competence in MS Word, Access, and Excel is essential. An associate’s degree, preferably in accounting or business, is required, but an equivalent combination of education and experience from which appropriate knowledge and abilities have been acquired may substitute for degree.
Starting salary is $16 - $17/hour, depending upon background and experience.
