The Position: The Nueva School seeks an experienced tennis head coach. Well-qualified candidates will be motivated, energetic, positive, and passionate people with experience coaching athletes from beginner level to college recruited. Candidates will be team-oriented and open to collaborating with coaches across divisions. Prior collegiate tennis experience is highly valued, though not required.
Centrally located on the Peninsula, Nueva is a PK-12 school that draws from six different counties around the bay area. Its runs an athletic program for grades 4-12. This position provides the opportunity to develop talent and bolster participation across grade levels. Nueva competes in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) in tennis and is a Positive Coaching Alliance partner school. The spring high school season begins on January 29th.
Position Qualifications: • University undergraduate (or higher) degree • Successful athletic and/or coaching experience in secondary school and/or university • Positive, entrepreneurial, can do results orientation
