Transylvania University invites applications for the full-time position of Head Volleyball Coach/Event Manager. Transylvania, founded in 1780, is the nation’s 16th oldest institution of higher learning and is consistently ranked in national publications as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country. Transylvania is located blocks from downtown Lexington, KY, in central Kentucky. Transylvania is a proud member of NCAA Division III. Responsibilities include organizing and directing all aspects of a successful and competitive collegiate program. The recruitment of qualified student-athletes and a demonstrated commitment to their personal, athletic, and academic success are essential. Responsibilities also include scheduling, player development, budget management, fundraising, rules compliance, and academic monitoring. Additional responsibilities include assignment as event manager. Individual will also be responsible for the oversight of the full-time assistant coach. This is a full-time ten-month appointment with benefits and a salary commensurate with experience.
