The University of Arkansas at Little Rock invites nominations and applications for the position of Women’s Soccer Head Coach (R98864). The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, part of the University of Arkansas System, is a metropolitan university dedicated to providing excellence in education to a diverse student body and to serving the needs of a vibrant and growing region of the state. The Head Soccer Coach is a twelve (12) month position and will be responsible for successful execution in planning, developing and administering all phases of the Women’s Soccer coaching and recruiting program. All duties and responsibilities are governed by state, federal and university policy.
The Head Coach will lead a program that competes at the NCAA Division I level in the Sun Belt Conference. The Little Rock Trojans Athletic Department includes 14 sports for men and women. Under the general supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Women’s Soccer Head Coach will manage a Division I Soccer program as Head Coach, in accordance with NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock regulations. Areas of responsibility include coaching, recruiting, conditioning, scouting, budget, summer camps/clinics, administration of sport, supervision of assistant coaches, public relations, fundraising and other duties as assigned.
Required Education and/or Experience: A bachelor’s degree with five (5) years intercollegiate soccer coaching experience; General knowledge of the academic eligibility requirements for students and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Desire to work in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
