The Head Football Coach is responsible for implementing and directing all phases of a competitive NCAA Division III football program. This includes recruiting quality student-athletes, hiring and mentoring of football staff, organizing and planning practices and game strategies, scouting, coaching, scheduling, budgeting, viable fund-raising and planning team travel, all in compliance with College, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Additionally, there will be an expectation of fulfilling responsibilities within contest management and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. The Head Football Coach also provides leadership in the personal, academic and athletic development of student-athletes and will work with the Director of Athletics to support the overall mission and vision of Endicott.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred and a minimum of five years of college coaching experience. preferably head coaching experience; strong program management skills; significant knowledge and passion for recruiting database systems and digital editing systems; experience in coaching or teaching; scheduling and supervising activities; demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
